Anti-Wrinkle - Botox

Botox: Dysport, Nuceiva, Xeomin $8.00/unit, (average number of units used 30-60) specific treatment prices available in the fee schedule

Injections of neuromodulators otherwise known as Botox, cause the temporary relaxation of muscle fibers by blocking certain chemical signals from the nerves. This reaction stops the muscle from contracting and has the ability to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by smoothing out the overlying skin. Results can start to be seen in about 5 days, maximum results seen in about 14 days. Effects lasting for 3 to 6 months, dependent on the individual. It is recommended to book a follow-up appointment 2 weeks post treatment, at which time you can decide if additional treatment is required to obtain your optimal results. Best results are generally achieved in individuals <65 years of age.

Effective for men and women with pattern hair loss. Best results seen in 4-6 weeks, and at least 3 treatments are recommended for best results.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion from $199, package prices available in the fee schedule

This treatment is a non-surgical restructuring or polishing of the skin. This system uses a diamond encrusted tip that gently exfoliates the skin. This stimulates collagen production and tightening of the skin, reduces pore size and improves the quality of the epidermis and dermis. There are certain conditions that are contraindicated for microdermabrasion, speak with the nurse if you are unsure if this treatment is for you. Microdermabrasion has even greater benefits when paired with complimentary treatments such as chemical peels and hydrating masks.

Medical Grade Chemical Peels

Chemical peels from $125, package prices available in the fee schedule

Medical grade chemical peels are also known as Chemoexfoliants. This is a non-surgical medical aesthetic procedure using chemical agents to exfoliate the outermost layers of the skin. By removing the old cells of the outer layers of the skin, this stimulates the production of new epidermal growth and thickening of the epidermis. It replaces damaged skin with healthier normal skin during the healing process. With stronger and deeper working peels, they create an inflammatory response and produce new collagen and ground substances within the dermis. Chemical peels are effective in improving fine lines and wrinkles, evening out the texture of the skin, can help lighten hyperpigmentation, and improve mild acne (Grade 1-2). The strength and depth of the chemical peel will also determine the downtime and length of the healing process. Medium to deep chemical peels will require strict skin care regimens to avoid complications and achieve maximum results. Mild chemical peels have no to very little down time and pairs well with microdermabrasion and/or with hydrating Hydrojelly masks.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal filler syringe: $550,
Half syringe #300

The Dermal Fillers that are used in clinic are made up of Hyaluronic Acid, a substance that is found in our bodies. As we age we tend to lose the fat pads in our faces that give us a smoother and more youthful appearance. Dermal fillers are substances that can be injected into areas to fill out the deflated areas in our faces. Some Dermal fillers also stimulate our body's production of collagen. There are currently four main types of dermal fillers, each one is a different chemical composition and come in different thicknesses or viscosity which will depend on what it is used for, for example: Lips will use a thinner (softer) product than a chin or cheeks, which would require a thicker product for volume and lift.

The most common areas that are treated with dermal fillers are: lips, cheeks, chin, nasolabial folds and the marionette lines (around nose & mouth), tear trough and temples. Results are seen immediately - 3 days (as there may be some swelling and bruising associated with treatment) and the positive effects can last for 6 months - 2 years (results will vary).
